Big Bear Lake Christian Conference Center – COVID-19 Virus update
Please know that our guest safety and health is our upmost priority, as well as their spiritual well-being. We at Big Bear Lake Christian Camp are committed to providing and environment that is healthy and safe both physically and spiritually for all of those that set foot on our grounds.
With the everchanging news and information being presented regarding COVID-19 (Corona Virus) The staff at Big Bear Lake is well informed of many of the concerns and issues. Being a American Camping Association accredited camp and a site that is monitored by The San Bernardino Health Department our facility has many procedures and protocols in place to mitigate any potential impact to our guest such as, a required pre-arrival medical screenings of guest for illness, hand sanitizing stations, on-site health staff requirements both for our program camps and guest groups, continued monitoring/isolation of guest and if need be removal of sick guest from the grounds if need be.
In a case of an outbreak Big Bear Lake Christian Conference Center will follow all indications as needed from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and mandates from state/local government agencies.
As of today we have not detected any outbreaks of COVID-19 or other diseases with our guest, staff or local community. In our mission to serve our guest our staff is committed to stay informed on the status of communicable diseases, use recommended practices to reduces the impact of these diseases and communicate any potential impacts to those who visit, work or do business with our ministry.
There is no immediate threat to San Bernardino County, no special precautions are required but it is recommended to continue to practice good public health hygiene which includes:
Washing your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Do not touch your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Cover your coughs and sneezes with tissues, your elbow, or clothing- not your hands.
Use verbal greetings instead of hugs and handshakes.
Stay home when you are sick.
